This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.171 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent for offences under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471 read with Section 3 (i) (iv) (v) (xv) of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, as against the petitioner.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted FIR in Crime No.171 of 2016 was enquired and completed investigation and also filed final report as mistake of fact. After receipt of the referred charge sheet notice, the defacto complainant also filed protest petition before the Judicial Magistrate concerned, which is pending.

In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
