O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2021 and transfer her from Government Polytechnic College, Jolarpet, Thirupathur to any of the Government offices in and around the Puvanagiri, Cuddalore District, on medical and humanitarian grounds, within the limit to be stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the writ petitioner, she made a request to the 1st respondent to transfer her from Government Polytechnic College, Jolarpet, Thirupathur to any of the Government offices in and around Puvanagiri, Cuddalore District on medical ground. But, her representation was not considered till date and hence, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice if a direction is passed to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2021, within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if any vacancy arises, the said representation of the petitioner will be considered by the 1st respondent on merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2022, and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
