Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for records on the file of the respondent relating to the impugned proceedings of the respondent issued in Na.Ka.No.87/B4/2011, dated 07.04.2011 and quash the same as illegal and to direct the respondent to grant renewal of recognition for a further period of 3 years from 18.03.2011 in respect of the petitioner school.

O R D E R

The petitioner/School has challenged the order dated 07.04.2012 by which the renewal of recognition has been refused to the petitioner.

2.When the matter is called today, Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, a G.O has been passed in G.O.Ms.No.134, dated 18.08.2015 and renewal has been granted to the petitioner/School vide order dated February 2016.

3.In view of the above stated position, the impugned order is liable to be quashed and accordingly quashed. Since the petitioner/School was already granted renewal, no further order is necessary. It is made clear that further renewal shall be done in accordance with law.

4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
