ORDER

The relief sought in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give protection to the person of the petitioners and to their enjoyment of their property bearing New S.No.47/4 Hec.0.40.0 = old S.No.59 and 1067/5 Ac.1.00 in Tharasu Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District.

2.The learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 made a submission that a civil dispute is pending between the parties and in respect of the property right, police cannot give any protection to any individual.

3.The relief sought is to give protection to the person and the property. Such relief is not entertainable and the aggrieved parties are at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court for appropriate remedy. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
