This writ petition has been filed to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2022.

2. According to the writ petitioner, she is a Junior Grade Teacher, working in the Government Middle School, Solaiyar Estate, Valparai, Coimbatore District and also she possessed all the educational qualifications for further promotion to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher. As the petitioner is fully eligible for seniority and promotion, she sent a representation to the 3rd respondent for promotion to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher, but the same has not been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

considered till date. There is a vacancy in Valparai Education Block. Hence, she filed the present petition seeking to consider her representation dated 07.02.2022.

3. Mr.V.Nanmaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and he would submit that if any such representation was received by the first respondent, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions and considering the limited scope of the prayer, in the interest of justice, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2022, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, more preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any approval is required, the first respondent has to communicate to the Director of Elementary Education and obtain necessary approval, within the aforesaid period.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
