This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the second respondent dated 04.10.2010 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to give permission to the petitioner to take route march in the routes as specified by them vide their request letter dated 08.09.2010 or alternatively direct the respondents to give permission in some other routes within the City of Coimbatore to take route march on 17.10.2010 between 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought time to get instructions from his client.

3. A perusal of the Writ Petition would indicate that the relief sought by the petitioner has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. 2/4
