This Contempt Petition has been filed praying to punish the respondent for wilfully disobeying the orders passed in W.P.No.29849 of 2024 dated 04.10.2024. 1/4

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the earlier order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) Nos.18386 to 18389 of 2024 dated 02.08.2024 was confirmed by the Division Bench in W.A.(MD)No.309 to 313 of 2025 by an order dated 19.02.2025. A copy of the order was also placed before this Court.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that in view of the interim order passed by this Court in the connected writ petitions, the respondent is not in a position to add the name of the petitioner in the provisional selection list for the post of B.T. Assistant (Tamil). 4.In the considered view of this Court, the interim order will come in the way of the respondent only insofar as the issuance of the appointment order is concerned. The entire process before issuance of appointment order by adding the name of the petitioner in the provisional selection list, is not barred by the interim order passed by this Court. In view of the same, the respondent is directed to add the name of the petitioner in the provisional selection list for the post of B.T. Assistant (Tamil). The ultimate appointment order will await for the final result in the batch of pending writ petitions.

5.This contempt petition is disposed of with the above directions. 6.Post this contempt petition under the caption 'For Reporting Compliance' on 01.04.2025.
