O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to collect the land revenue pertaining to the years 2005 and 2007 in respect of the petitioner's land in old Survey No.656, New Survey No.155 to an extent of 2 acres in Thondaman Durai Village, Perambalur District. 2.This petition was filed in the year 2010 and no interim order has been passed by this Court and the matter has been kept pending. At this length of time, there is no purpose in keeping this writ petition pending. It is submitted that that the petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 28.07.2007. But, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the petitioner has not made any such representation, and no acknowledgment is found place in the typed set of papers.

3.In such view of the above stated circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such filing, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
