O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking police protection for the petitioner's shop, on the complaint dated 10.03.2018 Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on records.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent police have conducted an enquiry and find nothing is there to provide police protection. He would further submit that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the counter party and the petitioner has also filed a suit in O.S.No.161 of 2017 before the learned District Munsif, Vaniyambadi, to restrain the counter party not to interfere to the suit property.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is devoid of merits. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
