ORDER
Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made by Hon'ble predecessor Judge on 05.11.2020 and by me in the previous listings on 27.08.2021 and 31.08.2021, all of which read as follows:
' Proceedings made on 05.11.2020 Learned counsel for the petitioner reports 'no instructions' in this matter and has circulated a memo to this effect under cover of e.mail dated 05.11.2020. Let notice go to the petitioner by RPAD and proof of service be placed on file. List on 26.11.2020.'
'Proceedings made on 27.08.2021 Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made by Hon'ble predecessor Judge on 05.11.2020, wherein it has been recorded that writ petitioner counsel has reported 'No instructions'.
2. The position is no different today.
Ms.S.T.P.Kuilmozhi, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner reiterates her earlier submission and says that she reports 'no instructions'. However, name of the writ petitioner is shown in the cause list, but there is no representation, with the intention of giving opportunity to the writ petitioner, list his matter on the next working day i.e., 31.08.2021. ' ' Proceedings made on 31.08.2021 Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of separate proceedings made in previous listing on 27.08.2021. There is not much difference in the position today. 2. Mr.NRR.Arun Natarajan, learned State counsel is before this virtual Court, but there is no representation for writ petitioner. 3. Registry to list this matter under the caption FOR DISMISSAL day after tomorrow (02.09.2021).'
2. Pursuant to the above trajectory, captioned matter is listed under the cause list caption 'FOR DISMISSAL' today.
3. The position is not any different today. In other words, Mr.NRR.Arun Natarajan, learned State counsel is before this Court on behalf of lone respondent, but there is no representation for the writ petitioner.
4. The aforementioned trajectory brings to light that the writ petitioner is not interested in pursuing the captioned writ petition.
Captioned writ petition is dismissed for default/nonprosecution. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is also dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs.
