ORDER

This writ petition challenges the order of the 2nd respondent dated 18.09.2014 whereby the request of the petitioner for compassionate appointment was rejected.

2. The petitioner's father - Sivamurthy died on 01.06.1994 while in service. He was working as Noon Meal Organizer at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Nariyampettai. An application for compassionate appointment itself came to be filed only on 08.02.2010. The said application was hopelessly barred by time. The 2nd respondent was therefore right in rejecting the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment. I do not find any perversity or illegality in the same. In the result, the writ petition fails and the same is dismissed.
