ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to appoint special team and conduct enquiry and recover the goods which is now available with the accused.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, the Inspector of Police, Perundhurai Police Station, Erode had conducted enquiry and found that there was no jurisdiction to investigate the matter, since the petitioner's lorry was proceeded from Kerala to Karnataka and it has been kept in the State of Maharashtra. Therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the respondent.

4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned jurisdictional Police Station, in the manner known to law, if so advised.
