ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's grievance appeal petition dated 16.01.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, on account of the stagnation of sewerage and debris at Velu Nagar, Koothapakkam, Cuddalore, the petitioner had to suffer serious ailments. According to the petitioner, due to stagnation of sewerage, there is also mosquito menace. According to the petitioner, despite several representations, the respondents have not attended to the grievance of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner had submitted the grievance appeal petition dated 16.01.2026 to the respondents. Since the said grievance appeal petition
has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's grievance appeal petition as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. If the grievance of the petitioner is found to be true, necessarily, the respondents will have to act upon it and see to it that the grievance is redressed as expeditiously as possible.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the fifth respondent (Municipal Corporation) to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's grievance appeal petition dated 16.01.2026, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the fifth respondent finds that the grievance appeal petition dated 16.01.2026 of the petitioner to be true, the fifth respondent shall ensure that the sewerage and debris at Velu Nagar, Koothapakkam, Cuddalore is immediately rectified and in future the said stagnation of sewerage and debris does not happen.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. 10-04-2026
