This criminal original petition has been filed toto direct the second respondent to convene peace committee or act as per the provisions U/s 145 Cr.P.C., and decide the issue referred to in the letter dated 13.07.2017 on the file of the first respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner as well as the counter party has been enquired and the same was closed in the year 2017 itself. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.
