Respondents Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to follow the teacher-student ratio norm and notify the number of posts of Assistant Professor in Production Engineering available in the second respondent college as per the accepted All India Council for Technical Education norms being 1:20 i.e., for every 20 sanctioned strength of students there should be one faculty member and consequently direct the first respondent to recruit the petitioner in the post of Assistant Professor in Production Engineering in the second respondent college in the available vacancy in the said post.
