At the hearing on 02.12.2020, the learned counsel for the Petitioner did not log in. Consequently, the matter was adjourned. At the hearing today, once again the learned counsel for the Petitioner has not logged in. The learned counsel Mr.S.Balaji for the first Respondent is present. the third Respondent and the learned Government Advocate Ms.R.J.Radhika appears for the second Respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the Accountant General submits that the relief prayed for in the writ petition was granted subsequent to the filing of the writ petition by revising the pension benefits of the Petitioner. In support of his submission, he produced an order dated 31.03.2011 issued by the Branch Officer of the Office of the Accountant General(A & G) Tamil Nadu.

3. Upon perusal thereof, I find that the said document discloses that the pension benefits of the Petitioner were revised. As such, the submission of the learned counsel for the first Respondent that the relief prayed for has been granted is liable to be accepted. In light of the aforesaid submissions, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
