Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner produced a letter dated 19.01.2021 addressed to him by the petitioner instructing him to withdraw the writ petition. In the said letter, the petitioner has stated that she got appointment as Information Assistant in the Police Department, Salem District. The same is recorded.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the letter, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
