ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's wife Anuradha has lodged a complaint against the petitioner before the respondent police stating that the petitioner is threatening her through cell phone. He further submitted that the respondent has issued summons to the petitioner. On receipt of the said summons, the petitioner has appeared before the respondent police. Without conducting any enquiry, the respondent police directed the petitioner to come daily and made to wait till evening and therefore the petitioner requests to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner's wife Anuradha has lodged a complaint against the petitioner and based on the same CSR.No.19 of 2020 was issued. He further submitted that the petitioner has also lodged a complaint against the petitioner's wife based on which CSR.No.20 of 2020 was issued and for enquiry purpose on those complaints received, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner was called and not subjected to any harassment.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 17.02.2020 at 10.00 a.m and on such appearance, the respondent has to conduct enquiry with regard to both the complaints and dispose of the same in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of .
