For Respondents : Labour Court (for R1) Mr.S.T.Varadarajulu (for R2 to R12) (in WP.No.23877/2005) COMMON ORDER The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners as well as the respondents made a submission that, during the pendency of the writ, the parties to the lis on hand entered into a settlement under Section 18(1) of the I.D.Act. In view of the settlement, the issues were settled between the parties.

2. In view of the 18(1) settlement, the award of the Labour Court is liable to be set aside. Accordingly, the common award dated 12.08.2004 passed in ID Nos.240 to 246, 249 to 262/2001, and I.D.Nos. 264 to 269 of 2001 is quashed. Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
