purpose of conducting survey and demarcation of petitioner's lands situated in Survey Nos.14/5B, 27/11A, 27/12, 27/13A1, 27/21 and 27/9 at Mallamooppampatti Village, Sooramangalam, Salem West Taluk, Salem District, in light of the order dated 28.08.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.31268 of 2025 and the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

Mr.K.M.D. Muhilan, Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 to R3 Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate and effective police protection to the 4th respondent for the purpose of conducting survey and demarcation of the petitioner's lands in Survey Nos.14/5B, 27/11A, 27/12, 27/13A1, 27/21 and 27/9 situate at Mallamooppampatti Village, Sooramangalam, Salem West Taluk, Salem District, in light of the order dated 28.08.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.31268 of 2025 and the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has requested the 4th respondent to conduct survey and demarcate the petitioner's properties. He would further submit that the 4th respondent has fixed a date and apprehending some law and order issue, the 4th respondent has

asked for police protection from the 3rd respondent. Since the 3rd respondent did not consider the same, the petitioner has approached this Court with the abovesaid prayer.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that if the 4th respondent gives a representation fixing a date for survey, the 3rd respondent will duly consider the same and provide adequate protection.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of with a direction that as and when the 4th respondent fixes a date for survey and requests for police protection, it shall be afforded by the 3rd respondent police.
