ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st appellate court to dispose of the stay application in IA.No.1 of 2025 in AS.No.266 of 2025.

2. The respondents herein filed a suit in O.S.No.2222 of 2020 seeking bare injunction and the same was decreed on 26.09.2025. Challenging the said decree, the petitioners herein filed an appeal in A.S.No.266 of 2025 along with an application seeking stay of further proceedings, pursuant to the decree passed in the said original suit. Though the said application was numbered as I.A.No.1 of 2025 and posted for hearing on several dates, the first appellate court did not consider the same and pass any orders. Hence, the petitioners have come before this court.

3. It is seen from the typed set of papers that in the said I.A.No.1 of 2025, counter has been filed as early as on 11.12.2025. Thereafter, the application has been adjourned from time to time without any further progress.

4. Taking into consideration that the respondents have filed counter in the application as early as on 11.12.2025, the first appellate court is directed to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18-02-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MST To The XV Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
