The petitioner gave a complaint dated 13.12.2014 and thereafter, filed Crl.O.P.No.1761 of 2015 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for a direction to the police to register an F.I.R. on her complaint in which, this Court, by order dated 29.01.2015, directed the police to follow the law laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh [(2014) 2 SCC 1]. Alleging non-compliance of the order dated 29.01.2015, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that pursuant to the order dated 29.01.2015 passed by this Court, the police registered a regular F.I.R. on the complaint given by Dhanalakshmi in Crime No.417 of 2015 on 06.04.2015 under Section 294(b), 323, 423 and 506(I) IPC. After completing the investigation, the police have closed the F.I.R. as mistake of fact on 18.01.2016.
