Through the order dated 08.06.2023 and the subsequent modification order dated 14.06.2023, it is seen that the petitioner has been reinstated back into service together with continuity of service and other service benefits, but without any backwages for the period of his non-employment.

2. In view of the compliance of the order passed by this Court, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed to be wilful in nature. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.
