Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that nothing survives in the writ petition, since the petitioner has already promoted as Special Revenue Inspector, vide proceedings in C2/24768/2003 dated 30.09.2005 and also reached the age of superannuation. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter further.

3.In view of the above submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
