No. 38970/2009/BC1 dated 10.12.2009 passed by the Second Respondent and quash the same as illegal, improper, unreasonable, arbitrary and against the rule of law and natural justice and thereby direct the Respondents to appoint the Petitioner in the post of cook or any other post in the Government Hostel.

There does not appear to be any useful purpose being served in keeping the Writ Petition pending indefinitely when the Petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the same.
