PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,to direct the Respondent Police give police protection to the petitioner in occupying the premises comprised in Old Natham 39/132 Part, 160A Part, in Ward B Block 8, T.s.No.85 patta No.1149 and 1150, in Gobichettipalayam Town, Old Ward 7, New Ward 9, and in Door No.283 measuring 3938 3/4 sq Feet vacant site. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

The petition was filed in the year 2018. By efflux of time, the cause of action that has been projected to seek for the relief of police protection, may not survive at this length of time and this Court is not inclined to grant any police protection.

3. If and when the petitioner encounters a situation wherein he requires police protection for the life and property, a fresh representation can be made to the respondent police and the same shall be considered and a proper action shall be taken in accordance with law.
