ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition filed by the petitioner in W.P.No.32947 of 2016, by order dated 01.11.2016, directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Cook, under the 2nd respondent herein, if he is found eligible to the said post and to pass appropriate orders within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ period of four weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 01.11.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 12.04.2018 issued by the 2nd respondent, submitted that the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the 2nd respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires. Consequently, connected Sub-Application is also closed.
