Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of petitioner's online application dated 13.06.2023, in and by which, he sought to survey, mark boundaries and issue Patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of land in Plot No.29 in Survey Nos.815/2, 815/4, 816/-, 816/1 measuring an extent of Page Nos.2/6
1.45 cents situated at Thiruvathigai Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District.
3. The main grievance of the petitioner is that even though online application has been made on 13.06.2023, till date the second respondent has not taken any action on the said application. Further, the reminder dated 22.12.2023 sent by the petitioner also did not yield any fruitful result. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to file the present writ petition. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that online application of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
5. Since this writ petition is filed for a simple Mandamus to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view Page Nos.3/6
or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 13.06.2023, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as rival claimants/interested parties/adjacent owners of the subject properties if any, and after conducting enquiry, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if already the said online application has not been disposed of so far.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
