This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.76 of 2022 on the file of the respondent.
2. Heard Ms.J.Shahidha, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that investigation has been completed and Forensic Sciences Laboratory report has also been received and final report will be filed.
4. In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. The first respondent is directed to file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of four (4) weeks from today. If ultimately, the concerned Court takes cognizance and summons is issued to the petitioner and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it will be left open to him to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above 2/4
