[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent herein to secure and produce the detenue P.Priya, aged about 24 years, W/o.B.Prakash, before this Court and set her at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that his wife P.Priya, aged about 24 years, went missing from 13.01.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. 3.
Today, Mr.D.Seethalakshmi, Sub-Inspector of Police, T10, Thirumullaivoyal Police Station, Ambattur, Chennai, is present.

Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Thirumulaivoyal Police Station Crime No.33 of 2021 for 'woman missing' was registered and during the course of investigation, it came to light that Priya has eloped with one Sasikumar.
In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Avadi, to monitor the investigation in Thirumulaivoyal Police Station Crime No.33 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Priya, aged about 24 years, is secured, she may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambattur, under intimation to the petitioner.
