Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order issued by the 2nd respondent dated 10.11.2023 in Letter No.229/E.Ni.Po/Mea/Kaal/Ko.DCW/23-24 and to quash the same, consequently direct the 2nd respondent to change the existing electrical wires in the alternation route. This writ petition is filed is filed for the following relief: "To call for the records relating to the impugned order issued by the 2nd respondent dated 10.11.2023 in Letter No.229/E.Ni.Po/Mea/Kaal/Ko.DCW/23-24 and to quash the same, consequently direct the 2nd respondent to change the existing electrical wires in the alternation route".

2. The petitioner purchased the property comprised in Survey No.13/3, situate at Virudampattu Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, vide document No.10571 of 2022, on the file of SRO, Katpadi and have been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same.

3. The petitioner would submit that the subject property is a house site and an agricultural electric line runs across the said house. Due to which, the petitioner is unable to raise construction in the said house site for her better shelter. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 20.09.2023, to the 2nd respondent requesting to remove the electrical wires and electrical pole. Since there was no response, the petitioner made an online application vide Application No: 2008 2131123 1425 on 06.11.2023.

4. The petitioner would submit that the 2nd respondent issued an impugned order dated 10.11.2023, stating that an electrical wire is currently running through an agricultural land and no action can be taken in respect of the existing alignment. Therefore, the petitioner is 3/6

before this Court.

5. Mr. S.Madhusudanan, learned Standing Counsel on instructions would submit that the official respondents have accepted the request of the petitioner to increase the height of the electrical line at the petitioner's cost of Rs.79,870/-.

6. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is also ready to make the said payment.

7. Recording the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of. The respondents are directed to increase the height of the electrical line, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of payment being made by the petitioner. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
