Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order of the 1st respondent in G.O.(D) No.30, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Department, dated 19.2.2009 and quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to declare the probation of the petitioner at an appropriate date or w.e.f. May, 1998 in the cadre of Assistant Supervisor of Industrial Co-operatives and consequently, direct the 3rd respondent to grant Selection Grade and Special Grade and further promotions as Supervisor of Industrial Cooperatives and Inspector of Industrial Co-operative on par with his juniors and confer all consequential benefits. dated 19.2.2009 and to quash the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

When the matter is called, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the Writ Petition has already become infructuous. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
