Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2020 and to make entries in the revenue records in favour of the petitioner in pursuance to the purchase made by this petitioner in view of the Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2020 and to make entries in the revenue records in favour of the petitioner in pursuance of the purchase made by him in view of the Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 within a time fixed by this Court. 2.Heard both sides.

3.Ms.R.Janani, learned Addl.Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is fixed at 03.00 p.m., on 12.03.2021 at the Office of the Tahsildar, the second respondent herein.

4. The said statement of the learned Addl.Government Pleader is recorded.

5.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the representation dated 27.02.2020 of the petitioner through a speaking order within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
