The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent to grant staff approval for the B.Ed., and M.Ed.,course by considering the proposals given by the petitioner-College on 07.01.2019.
2. The petitioner-College had sent their proposals to the respondent on 07.01.2019 for staff approval for B.Ed.,and M.Ed., courses along with necessary documents. On receipt of the same, the respondent had issued a communication dated 11.01.2019 in No.TNTEU/R/QA/M.Ed.,Proposal/2019/98 directing the petitioner to produce the original educational/NET.Ph.D. Certificates, Community Certificates etc., for the purpose of verification. As what were submitted by the petitioner are only the photocopies https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
along with proposals, he could have very well approached the respondent with originals and get the approval after verification. However, without doing so, he rushed to this Court seeking a direction as stated supra.
3. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that if the originals are produced by the petitioner-College for verification, they would immediately consider the proposals for staff approval for B.Ed., and M.Ed., courses.
4. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to approach the respondent on 24.04.2019 along with originals and the respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner for approval of staff as stated supra, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
