Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue appropriate writs, orders or directions and more particularly a Writ in the nature of Declaration, declaring the action of the 1st and 2nd respondents in declining promotion to the petitioner as detailed in the agenda for the council meeting scheduled on 29.10.2010 to the post of Assistant Revenue Officer on the ground that the petitioner acquired B.A. Degree in Open University without completing the P.U.C/+2 and consequently, direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Revenue Officer from the date when the petitioner's immediate junior was promoted to the post of Assistant Revenue Officer, with all consequential benefits.
