ORDER

Mr.r.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 09.03.2018 in pursuance to the issuance of separate patta in her name for the agricultural land measuring an extent of Acre 0.36 cents, comprised in Survey Nos.237/1A1, 1A2, 1B1 and 1B2 situated at Kalvoy Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against the order passed by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 09.03.2018, however, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 2nd respondent.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, within a time frame, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 09.03.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
