Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2.The petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 07.11.2016 seeking name transfer for the property from the name of his wife S.Rajamani Ammal to his name for the property situated at Old No.16, New Door No.24, Chinna Reddy Street, Egmore, Chennai - 8. As the said request is still pending consideration despite the subsequent representation made on 08.12.2016, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the second respondent to hear any other person who is interested. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
