..Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to grant six days leave to the detenue Thirupathiraj to attend his wife Rajam's funeral held on 31.01.2019 at K.Rengapalayam Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J) This Court had entertained the Habeas Corpus Petition and vide order dated 30.01.2019, has granted leave to the detenu Thirupathiraj for a period of five days commencing from 30.01.2019 at 5.00 p.m., till 5.00 p.m., on 04.02.2019. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the detenu / uncle of the petitioner had availed the benevolence of the said order of this Court and returned back to the custody. The said fact was also affirmed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

In the light of the same, nothing remains for further adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
