ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order and decretal order dated 13.12.2019 in I.A.No.2 of 2019 in O.S.No.2791 of 2019 on the file of the XVI Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the sole respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the learned counsel for the revision petitioners submitted that there was a stay granted by this Court on 14.02.2020 in the present Civil Revision Petition, the learned counsel for the respondent would contend that judgement in O.S.No.2791 of 2019 has been passed by the XVI Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the Trial Court had observed that the stay was granted by this Court in CRP.(PD).No.645 of 2020 dated 14.02.2020 and adjourned the matter to 12.03.2021 for counter. In the next hearing, the Trial Court ascertained that the stay was granted only till 09.03.2020 and was no extension of the stay order, therefore, the Trial Court directed the defendant to file their written statement on or before 11.10.2022 in I.A.No.1 of 2019 and adjourned the case to 11.10.2022 for counter. Thereafter, judgement has been passed by the Trial Court in O.S.No.2791 of 2019.

5. As the judgement was passed by the learned XVI Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai in O.S.No.2791 of 2019, nothing survives in the
