O R D E R

Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the Subordinate Judge, Paramathi, to number the application filed by the petitioner in I.A.(SR) No.1910 of 2019 in I.P.No.6 of 1997 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he filed an application in I.A.(SR) No.1910 of 2019 in I.P.No.6 of 1997 before the Sub-Court, Paramathi. The said application has either been returned or numbered by the trial Court.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Court below ought to have numbered the said application, when the same was represented on 17/10/2019. Without numbering or

returning, the same is pending before the Subordinate Court, Paramathi.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- The Subordinate Judge, Paramathi, is directed to verify, if the said application is still pending in SR stage or not. If the said application is pending on its file, the same should be either returned for any defects or it should be numbered. The said exercise has to be carried out within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
