Today, when the matter came up for consideration, Mr.Kavin Castro, the learned counsel representing Mr.Mahaboob Fazil, learned counsel on record for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has made an endorsement to that effect are reads as follows:

" The petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition and letter to that effect has been circulated to the Registry by the counsel on record" .
