This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.12.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.M.S.Swathishkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of the Will executed by her mother dated 05.01.2019. The representation made by the petitioner seeking for patta in her name was not considered and hence the present writ petition has been filed before this court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh online application to the respondent along with all the necessary particulars. On receipt of the same, the application shall be acted upon and an enquiry shall be conducted by the respondent by issuing notice to the other legal heirs. A decision shall be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh online application from the petitioner.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
