O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of his representation dated 09.07.2013.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 09.07.2013 to the respondent, requesting to cancel the gas connection stands in the name of one Ahila, however, the same was not yet considered. He would further submit that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the norms for cancelling the domestic gas connection have been changed and therefore, liberty may be granted to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no serious objection for granting such relief to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent. It is needless to state that on receipt of such representation, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and as per the prevailing norms.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
