O R D E R

These Writ Petitions have been filed challenging the Government Order dated 01.06.2005 so far as it pertains to revenue District of Coimbatore proposing to modify the area approved scheme and quash the same.

2. Mr.M.Palani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that these matters are relating to the grant of challenging the proposal to modify the area of approved scheme dated 17.11.1999, which was published in the Government Gazette dated 01.06.2005 and the scheme under challenge was valid only for the period of one year and it was already lapsed. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the above Writ Petitions and he prayed to dismiss the Writ Petitions.

3. In view of the above, as nothing survives for adjudication in these Writ Petitions, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Petition Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
