ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in WP No.29294/2022 dated 07.11.2022.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submit that the respondents have taken action, as directed by this court, by installing iron barriers of required size and measurement above the road level to prevent the commercial/heavy vehicles in order to avoid any kind of damage to the Noyyal river bank and therefore, the order passed by this Court has been complied with. The respondents have also placed photographs before this Court in this regard. 2/4

3. On perusing the photographs placed before this Court by the respondents, we are satisfied with the action taken by the respondents in compliance with the order passed by the Court. Hence, the contempt petition is closed.

4. Mr.R.Amsaraj, Assistant Executive Engineer, W.R.D. Coimbatore and B.Ragul, Assistant Engineer, W.R.D. Tripur, are present in Court today. Their presence is discharged.
