ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representations dated 05.12.2022 and 10.01.2023 requesting to measure the properties situate at Kethanddapatti Village, comprised in Survey Nos.134/1A, 135/11B, 135/3B4, 135/7B bearing patta No.1492 measuring an extent of 0.97.50 Hectares and put the boundary stones within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The petitioner in order to survey her property at Survey Nos.134/1A, 135/11B, 135/3B4, 135/7B bearing patta No.1492 measuring an extent of 0.97.50 Hectares situated at Kethanddapatti Village has given an application on 05.12.2022. Thereafter reminder application on 10.01.2023 and necessary fee also had been paid in this regard. However, since no action was taken, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.V.S.Ilamvazhuthi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the 2/4

petitioner's application would be considered and decided by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court and the needful would be undertaken by surveying the land.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and do the needful by completing the survey within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
