ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 10.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader (i/c) for respondent Nos.1 to 10.

3. The petitioner is seeking direction to respondent Nos.2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 05.10.2018 in relation to the removal of encroachment in Survey No.123/9 of Karuppur Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, we are of the opinion that it would suffice if we direct respondent No.7, who is the competent authority, to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2018, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all concerned.

5. The writ petition is disposed of in terms aforesaid. No costs.
