2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner got information that one Krishnamoorthy is searching for the petitioner with the petitioner's photograph to murder him. The petitioner lodged complaint before the respondent police, but no action has been taken, therefore, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that on enquiry there is no person in the name of Senthil/petitioner residing in the given address and even the postal receipt given in the typed set of papers page No.5 does not bare the name of the petitioner.

4.Considering the nature of the allegations levelled in the complaint, the respondent police is directed to peruse the complaint dated 20.02.2014 of the petitioner and if any cognizable offence is made out, further directed to register the case and proceed as per law. The petitioner is directed to approach the respondent police in person within three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
