This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Special Judge, I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai - 104, in Dis.No.3243/2022/I Addl NDPS, dated 18.07.2022.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.3807 of 2022, this Court by an order dated 02.03.2022, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.81 of 2020, within a period of four months. However, the learned Special Judge, I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai - 104 has sent communication dated 18.07.2022 in Dis.No.3243/2022/I Addl NDPS, narrating the sequence of proceedings in C.C.No.81 of 2020 and sought further period of six months time to complete the trial in the said case. 3.
