Criminal Original petition filed under Sections 407 r/w 397 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to withdraw D.V.A.No.55 of 2014 from the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Coimbatore and transfer to the file of the Sub Court, Mettupalayam to be tried jointly along with H.M.O.P.No.3 of 2018.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed a petition seeking divorce from his wife in HMOP.No.3 of 2018, before the Sub-Court, Mettupalayam, wherein a counter claim petition in I.A.No.1 of 2019 was also filed by the wife/respondent under the domestic violence Act. The D.V.A.No.55 of 2014 filed by the petitioner is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Coimbatore. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.

2.Heard both sides.

3.This Court is not satisfied with the reasons submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the petition is devoid of merits. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
